Hello. My name is Jang Haesun, the chairwoman of the Lotte Samdong Welfare Foundation.
Lotte Samdong Welfare Foundation was established in 2009 in accordance with the will of
Honorary Chairman Shin Kyuk-ho to contribute to the development and welfare of the Ulsan region.
Over the past 14 years, we have supported various local social welfare facilities and
students experiencing academic difficulties through donations worth 13 miliion USD.
We are carrying out various projects such as
『Shin Kyuk-ho Lotte Love Happiness Sharing』,
『Shin Kyuk-ho Lotte Kimchi Sharing Grand Festival』,
『Shin Kyuk-ho Filial Love and Piety Elderly Feast 』,
『Following the Footsteps of Chairman Shin Kyuk-ho』,
and 『Shin Kyuk-ho Hometown Love Concert』.
Under the purpose of Chairman Shin Kyuk-ho, named after his hometown
village in order not to forget his roots, the foundation not only supports
his alma mater through the projects named after his name,
but also improves the welfare of the underprivileged in the Ulsan area.
We will strive to create a better society. We hope that
the small spark created by the Lotte Samdong Welfare Foundation will
lead to a warm light of hope in the Ulsan area.
